VEX Robotics allows students to build, program and control their own robots with the intent of competing against other VEX Robotics teams in the area.
VEX robotics is a great way for students with an interest in STEM to explore a variety of different topics through designing and building their very own robot. Teams consisting of 3-5 students build their robots at their own pace and develop different methods for succeeding in competitions. Competitions change annually and typically include a specific "game.". The game can include challenges such as shooting basketballs, stacking cones, or swinging robots from bars.VEX does not require any prior experience or knowledge of robotics or computer science. With a flexible club meeting time, the VEX Robotics team fits students' schedules, and they are welcome to come as often or as little as they would like. Students of all levels, experience, and interest are encouraged to join!
The club typically meets Monday through Thursday after school, as well as on Wednesday mornings.
