Athletic Training
UPMC Sports Medicine is the proud provider of athletic training services at Central Catholic High School.
Athletic Training Services
Central Catholic and UPMC Sports Medicine have established a contractual agreement to provide a Certified Athletic Trainer to aide in the prevention, recognition, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries. The Certified Athletic Trainer, Regis Visconti Jr., is available in the athletic training room located in the Coaches Pavilion beginning at 1:30 p.m. and will be available until the conclusion of practices and events for that school day. Saturday athletic training room hours are based upon practice schedules for in season PIAA athletic teams. There are no athletic training services on Sundays. If the Certified Athletic Trainer is not in the athletic training room, his location will be located on the athletic training room door.
Injury Treatment
If your student-athlete becomes injured or suffers from illness, he is encouraged to visit our athletic trainer for treatment.
