The Masque Drama Society proudly presents: Standing Ovation: An Evening with the Ensemble! This high-energy Fall production celebrates the power of collaboration in musical theatre, spotlighting the voices that make every show shine—the ensemble. Audiences will be treated to a dazzling mix of Broadway’s biggest hits and hidden gems, from the electric drive of Hamilton’s “My Shot” and Hairspray’s unstoppable “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” to the emotional depth of Hadestown’s haunting “Wait for Me.” With unforgettable numbers from Wicked, The Greatest Showman, A Chorus Line, and The Little Mermaid (to name just a few), this showcase promises to keep you humming long after the curtain falls!
The cabaret bursts with variety and heart, featuring your favorite Broadway quartets, standout medleys, and full-cast spectacles that highlight both powerhouse vocals and intricate choreography. The all-guys 'Conquest' Medley brings heroic flair through songs from Aladdin and Camelot, while the all-girls 'Mama' Medley delivers sass and soul with hits from Mamma Mia! and Spring Awakening. From the imaginative wonder of Seussical to the soaring harmonies of Sunday in the Park with George, 'Standing Ovation' is a vibrant tribute to musical theatre’s greatest ensembles—where every performer, every emotion, and every moment takes center stage.
