2026 Winter Formal Registration
Central Catholic will be hosting Winter Formal exclusively for freshmen and sophomores.
The Winter Formal will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 7:15 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and will take place in the Carnegie Music Hall of Homestead, located at 510 E 10th Ave Munhall, PA 15120.
Doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the event will begin promptly at 7:15 p.m.
The cost per couple is $50. A single ticket is $25. The ticket cost includes beverages, snacks and all-night dancing with a DJ. The dance will feature unlimited soft drinks. The snacks include slider sandwiches, chips, pretzels and cookies. The Winter Formal is just that, a formal event. Gentlemen should wear a suit or sport coat, and young ladies should wear a formal dress. Please be aware that your dates will be held accountable to the dress requirements set forth in the dance contract from Office C. If your date does not comply with these dress requirements, then she will not be able to attend the Winter Formal.
Winter Formal tickets will be on sale via the GoFan link located on the Central Catholic website or via the QR code on this letter from February 2nd – February 19th. No tickets will be sold after February 19th at 4pm.
Please plan on buying your tickets early, to ensure that you get a ticket. If tickets sell out, students will be placed on a waiting list, and will be granted tickets according to their number on the waiting list should tickets become available. Should you need a refund, please make sure you see Ms. Sirockman on or before February 19th.
Each student who wishes to purchase a ticket must have their date’s Winter Formal Event Contract completed in full before he will be able to purchase a couple ticket. Single tickets only require the online form to be completed. Along with completed contracts, students can submit payment directly through the electronic ticket portal located on the Central Catholic website. All students will be reviewed and subject to additional reviews for being in good standing by the Vice Principals and Dean of Students. What will be reviewed is the following Academic Integrity, Academic eligibility, Attendance eligibility, Discipline eligibility and overall standing of being a Christian Gentleman and good representation of a Central Catholic student.
The actual tickets will be distributed in an assembly the week of the Winter Formal. Students who have accumulated a significant number of conduct points, committed a serious disciplinary infraction, or are not in good standing with the Academic Affairs office may be denied the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Additionally, no student who currently owes tuition may purchase a ticket. Students with questions concerning the Winter Formal should see Ms. Sirockman in room Z204.
