About Mr. Ferguson:
Mr. Ferguson came to Central in 2017 to teach a leadership elective that met weekly during the Wednesday morning activity blocks. Since that time, the Introduction to Leadership course has evolved into a semester-long credited class that meets daily. Mr. Ferguson is also a lead mentor for the Viking Venture leadership week and teaches a class as part of the freshmen induction program.

Mr. Ferguson also serves as the Head Wrestling coach at Central Catholic.

Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, Mr. Ferguson served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1985-2015 when he retired as a colonel. He volunteers as a Team Leader with the Semper Fi Odyssey program which focuses on transitioning veterans.

He has a BA from Bucknell University (1985) in History and Geography and an MA from the US Naval War College (2001) in National Security and Strategic Studies.
