Viking of the Week: Liam Workman, ’28
Kind. Hard-working. Helpful. Charismatic. These are just a few of the words that describe Liam Workman, ’28. In the first semester of the school year, Liam has made a strong impression on his teachers and classmates alike, quickly showing that he understands what it means to be a Viking. He consistently lives out the school’s pillars of faith, scholarship, and service through his actions, his attitude, and his treatment of others.
Liam is exceptionally kind to his classmates and works to make sure everyone feels welcome in the classroom. He is always willing to help during labs or group work and is someone others naturally turn to for support, especially when they are struggling with a new concept. He plans ahead with his schoolwork, contributes positively to class discussions, and reflects thoughtfully when an answer does not come easily. Liam thrives in classes where he can ask meaningful, thought-provoking questions—clear evidence of his curiosity and love of learning.
Liam also leads by example beyond the classroom. On the football field, he has distinguished himself through his effort, discipline, and team-first mindset. He sets a standard for his teammates through his actions, whether during practice, in games, or in the weight room. His strong work ethic and willingness to push himself continue to shape him as both an athlete and a leader.
For his kindness, humility, and emerging leadership, we are proud to recognize Liam Workman ’28 as this week’s Viking of the Week—and our first sophomore to earn the honor.
