Flexible Instruction Day: January 26, 2026
Dear Central Catholic Students and Families,
I hope this message finds you well and staying warm. I’m writing to inform you that due to the snow and winter weather forecast for the remainder of the day and tomorrow morning, tomorrow (Monday, January 26, 2026) will be designated as a Flexible Instructional Day (FID). During this time, all students are expected to log into Schoology, check their email, and complete assignments posted by the Central Catholic faculty.
Here are a few important details:
- Schedule: Monday, January 26 will be considered “Day 4.”
- Assignments: Teachers will provide assignments and instructions on Schoology. These assignments are to be completed as part of your academic responsibilities for these days. Students must submit all assignments before the start of school on the day following the FID (8:05am on Tuesday, January 27).
- Teacher Availability: Teachers will be available during regular school hours (7:45 AM to 2:45 PM) to answer questions, provide clarification, and assist you as needed. Please reach out to them via email or any other communication method specified by your teacher.
- Accountability: Your engagement and timely completion of assignments will be monitored and recorded, so please ensure you stay on top of your work.
- Extracurriculars / Athletics: Please note that the campus will be closed tomorrow (Monday, January 26). With the closing of campus, all athletics and extracurricular activities scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled. Additionally, all extracurricular activities and athletics scheduled at Oakland Catholic for tomorrow are also cancelled as their campus is closed.
