Hands-On Learning at STEM Camp

Central Catholic’s summer STEM Camp welcomed rising 7th and 8th-grade boys to the Zupancic Family STEM Center for a week of hands-on learning! ⚙️


Led by Mr. Heid and Mr. Stone, campers designed laser-engraved shadow boxes, built water-powered race cars, constructed straw roller coasters, and programmed LEGO Spike Prime robots. Students also spent time with members of Central Catholic’s Robotics Team, learning about competitive robotics and taking turns remotely operating the team’s robot.


The week concluded with a showcase for parents, where students demonstrated the projects and skills they developed throughout camp.
