Central Catholic Enters Its Centennial Era

Central Catholic celebrated its first all-school Mass of the 2026-27 school year, commemorating the anniversary of the dedication of the school building in 1927.

As the school approaches its 100th anniversary in 2027, Central Catholic has officially entered its Centennial Era, a time to honor our history while looking ahead to the future.

During the Mass, Student Council leaders collectively pledged to serve the student body, while the new Lasallian Mission and Ministry Executive Board members were installed. The Central Catholic community also prayed for the victims and families affected by the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The Mass was celebrated by Father Tom Kadlick and Father Brian Myler. In his homily, Father Kadlick encouraged students to approach brotherhood by prioritizing Christ, allowing our love for our neighbors to grow alongside our love for the Lord. Through that commitment to faith and brotherhood, he reminded students, each generation has the opportunity to leave its mark on nearly 100-years of Central Catholic history.
