Central Catholic High School was proudly represented at District Day 2026 as members of our Lasallian community marked significant milestones in their vocations with the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

The District of Eastern North America (DENA) celebrated District Day on June 26–27, 2026, in Lincroft, New Jersey, marking a weekend of commitment, gratitude, and brotherhood for the Brothers.

We are especially pleased to share that Marco Hague, who discerned his vocation through the Brothers of the Christian Schools' Rue Neuve Program while living in community at Central Catholic, officially entered the Postulancy. His next step reflects a deep commitment to the Lasallian mission of faith, service, and education.

District Day also provided an opportunity to celebrate two members of the Central Catholic community who renewed their temporary vows as De La Salle Christian Brothers: faculty member Brother Javier Castro, FSC, and alumnus Brother Joseph "JD" Macioce, FSC, Class of 2013. Their continued dedication to serving God and educating young people is a powerful witness to the Lasallian vocation.

We congratulate Marco, Brother Javier, and Brother JD on these important milestones and thank them for their commitment to the mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their journeys of faith and service.
