Cross Country Celebrates Seniors at Senior Recognition Meet

Central Catholic’s cross country team recently gathered at Schenley Park for its Senior Recognition Meet, celebrating the contributions of six seniors who have helped shape the program throughout their time at Central Catholic.

This year’s senior class includes Giovanni Becker, Nate Tunno, Will Vidic, Jacob Vidic, Jack Duch, and Caleb Snediker. The meet gave us a chance to recognize these student-athletes while continuing to build momentum toward the postseason.

The Vikings also turned in several strong individual performances, highlighted by several seniors achieving personal records. Will Vidic also delivered an impressive performance, shaving approximately 30 seconds off his previous personal best. Vidic hopes to continue improving as he pursues a qualifying spot at the PIAA State Championship.

With the regular season winding down, Central Catholic is preparing for the postseason, beginning with the TSTCA Cross Country Championship on October 22, followed by the WPIAL Championships on October 29.

Congratulations to our six seniors on their accomplishments, and best of luck to the entire team as they close out the regular season!
