Viking Victory Auction

Thank you for helping us make the 36th Annual Viking Victory Auction a Success!

Saturday, April 18, 2026

The 36th Annual Viking Victory Auction proudly honored the De La Salle Christian Brothers—visionary educators whose faith and dedication have guided Central Catholic since its founding in 1927. Chosen by Bishop Hugh C. Boyle to lead his dream of a modern Catholic high school in the heart of Pittsburgh, the Brothers formed the first faculty that welcomed 488 young men into our halls.

Nearly a century later, their commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and service to others continues to shape every student who calls Central Catholic home. This year’s celebration paid tribute to their enduring legacy—the strength of their mission, the spirit of their brotherhood, and the lasting light they bring to our community.

As we look ahead, preparations are already underway for the 37th Annual Viking Victory Auction, which will mark the beginning of Central Catholic’s 100th year. More details to come as we prepare to celebrate this historic milestone together.

Together, We Made It Possible

Throughout the evening, our community’s remarkable generosity raised more than $445,000, benefiting this year’s Fund the Mission, which went directly to Tuition Assistance—ensuring that a Central Catholic education remains within reach for all.
