Central Catholic utilizes a wide range of athletics facilities, both on our campus and at neighboring universities, to meet the needs of our 19 varsity teams.

Central Catholic Weight Room

Located in the Coaches Pavilion, Central Catholic’s weight room is where our student-athletes train to build strength, discipline, and teamwork. The facility supports athletes across all sports, providing a dedicated space for conditioning, offseason development, and in-season training. It plays an important role in preparing Vikings to compete at a high level while emphasizing the commitment and work ethic that define Central Catholic athletics.

Carnegie Mellon University

Central Catholic Football proudly plays select home games at Gesling Stadium on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. The collegiate setting provides a premier game-day atmosphere for Viking players and fans while showcasing the tradition and excitement of Central Catholic football in one of Pittsburgh’s outstanding athletic venues.

Alpha Ice Complex

Alpha Ice Complex serves as the home rink for Central Catholic’s PIHL varsity ice hockey and inline hockey teams. The facility provides Viking players with a dedicated space to train, practice, and compete throughout the season. With strong fan support and a competitive atmosphere, Alpha Ice is where Central Catholic hockey continues its proud tradition on the ice.

No Offseason Sports - Russellton

Our baseball program trains and competes at No Offseason Sports in Russellton, a facility designed to support year-round player development. With modern training spaces and quality fields, the location provides Viking baseball players with an excellent environment to refine their skills and prepare for competition.

Oakland Catholic High School

Through our longstanding relationship with Oakland Catholic High School, the gymnasium serves as a temporary home for Central Catholic’s basketball and volleyball programs. The shared space reflects the close relationship between the two schools while providing a strong setting for practices, games, and spirited competition.

The Ellis School

Central Catholic’s soccer and lacrosse programs utilize The Ellis School’s athletic facilities for practices and games. The location offers a convenient and well-maintained environment that supports the continued growth and success of our Viking athletes.
