Athletic Training

The image shows a group of people, likely students, gathered in a gym or fitness facility. A man in a navy blue jacket is interacting with two other individuals, one of whom appears to be seated on the floor.

Athletic Training Services

Central Catholic High School has partnered with UPMC Sports Medicine through a formal agreement to provide a Certified Athletic Trainer dedicated to the prevention, recognition, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries.

The image shows several young men gathered around a person in a wheelchair, engaged in what appears to be a discussion or activity.

Schedule

Our Certified Athletic Trainer, Dillon Kapp, is available daily in the athletic training room located in the Coaches Pavilion beginning at 1:30 p.m. and remains on site through the conclusion of all practices and athletic events.

Saturday hours are determined by the practice schedules of in-season PIAA teams.

Athletic training services are not available on Sundays.

A commitment to athletic training focuses on helping student-athletes perform at their best both on and off the field. The goal is to support a safe return to the sports they love while also educating them about injuries and effective prevention techniques.”
