Building Brotherhood Through Competition

Athletics at Central Catholic are an integral part of the student experience. With 19 varsity sports, 30 athletics teams, and more than 100 coaches, Central Catholic boasts an 80% participation rate in athletics, offering an experience for everyone who steps foot on campus. Through competition in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic League (WPIAL), the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Association (PIAA), and other sport-specific leagues, Central’s tradition of excellence in the classroom and the community extends to the field, court, and the racetrack, challenging our students to build character and integrity through competition.
