Many Roads and Bridges to One Shared Home

Central Catholic High School is a Catholic, Lasallian college preparatory school for young men, serving Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania, forming leaders of integrity grounded in faith, service, and academic excellence. Rooted in the educational vision of St. John Baptist de La Salle, Central Catholic provides a broad, mission-driven education that nurtures each student’s God-given talents while promoting personal growth and servant leadership.

Guided by the core Lasallian principles of faith in the presence of God, respect for all persons, concern for the poor and social justice, quality education, and inclusive community, Central Catholic challenges young men through a rigorous curriculum, vibrant extracurricular and athletic programs, and meaningful service.

An education beyond academics

At Central Catholic, we believe in teaching the whole young man—mind, character, and heart. In an all-boys environment, students are encouraged to grow with confidence, form meaningful relationships, and develop the discipline and values that prepare them for college and life beyond high school.
