Important Notice:
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 12:00 midnight until 11:59 p.m., all charitable online donations to Central Catholic High School made through PittsburghGives.org will receive a portion of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s $750,000 matching pool. Your gift to Central Catholic will have an even greater impact if you make an online donation on October 4.
Last year, Central Catholic raised almost $66,000.00 in one day through The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Day of Giving. As a result of the generosity of our donors, Central finished among the top 10 local non-profits in terms of gifts.
All donor information will be relayed to Central, and donors will be acknowledged for the full amount of their gift (donation plus match) in Central’s 2010-2011 Report on Annual Giving.
The site can be accessed on October 4 at www.pittsburghgives.org. Click on “Day of Giving,” and select “Central Catholic High School” in the drop down box. There is a $25.00 minimum donation.
We hope you can take advantage of this program, and make your gift to the young men of Central Catholic go further. If you have any questions, please call or email Susan Carlino at (412) 208-3415, or scarlino@centralcatholichs.com.
Central Catholic High School offers young men the opportunity for a distinctive education, a combination of excellent academics, personal development and spiritual growth. Every student has the chance to challenge and be challenged; to explore, grow, and set a course toward personal fulfillment, spiritual growth and professional success.
Over the span of 84 years, Central Catholic has prepared thousands of young men to live faith-filled lives committed to God, family and community. The generosity of alumni and friends supports a vibrant and diverse group of students who enhance the Central Catholic experience, and enable Central to fulfill the mission and vision of St. John Baptist de La Salle. Gifts to Central Catholic ensure the legacy of Lasallian traditions that inspire our students to perform acts of kindness, speak words of encouragement, and learn in an environment rooted in the Gospel values of integrity, respect, service, justice, and peace.
As you review the various ways to give to Central and consider your own personal support, please know that all gifts, whether current or planned for future use, large or small, are critically important in educating the young men of Central Catholic High School, regardless of their cultural, social or financial backgrounds. Gifts to Central Catholic may be designated to the Annual Fund, Endowment Fund, or Capital Improvements.
